Andy Warhol Rare Vintage c. This vintage, original poster produced in the early 1970s for Andy Warhol’s film Trash comes directly from the artist’s estate. Developed in collaboration with Paul Morrissey, Trash pushed the boundaries of what was then considered acceptable in cinema by de-glamorizing the drug scene and showing the ugly side of addiction. Starting in 1963, film became a fixture of Warhol’s prolific practice resulting in his production of hundreds of movies and establishing him as one of the most influential, avant-garde filmmakers of his generation. Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts.
