Original vintage Soviet film poster for the release of an Italian drama movie Chronicle of a Death Foretold (Cronaca di una morte annunciata /????????????????????????) directed by Francesco Rosi, adapted by Tonino Guerra from a novella by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and starring Rupert Everett, Ornella Muti, Anthony Delon and Gian Maria Volonte. Colourful stylised illustration by Igor Markovich Maystrovsky b. 1950 featuring a bird flying up with hands at the end of outstretched wings holding red knives against a dark background, the title text above and the rest of the text on all sides of the border. Set in Latin America and filmed in Colombia, the movie premiered at the Cannes film festival in May 1987. Very good condition, folded as issued.
