Overall it is a great image of Ms. Davis and has a classic Golden Age Hollywood vibe. The original unrestored vintage 1939 window card was never folded and is in very good condition. The card was once framed, and it has slightly darkened in the area that was exposed. It had pieces of clear tape on the back where it was held to the mat. It had stains in the top and bottom blank areas, with just a few tiny scuffs in the image area. It had tiny tears and creases in the top right of Davis’ hair. Since the defects are primarily in the blank borders, which will not show when the poster is framed, it warrants a “very good” condition grade. This is an incredibly rare and really cool, striking window card to display. The window card was never folded which is unusual for that era and makes this a very rare and valuable piece of art.
