This Universal Horror thriller was a collaboration between director Robert Siodmak and his screenwriter-brother, Curt. In this version of the infamous vampire, Lon Chaney, Jr. Plays the mysterious Count Alucard (Dracula spelled backwards), who comes to the American south in search of new victims. Stars as the mysterious Count Alucard, a Budapest nobleman who moves to the American South and takes a bride, a lovely student of the occult, Katherine (Louise Allbritton). When friends notice that Katherine is acting strangely, they discover to their horror that Alucard is actually the son of the infamous vampire, Count Dracula. The third installment in Universal’s Dracula franchise, this is the first film to show the vampire transforming into a bat. This sensational window card features Chaney looking sinister, lurching out towards Allbritton. Starring Lon Chaney Jr. Robert Paige, Louise Allbritton, Evelyn Ankers, Frank Craven, J.
