Original John Carpenters Escape from New York movie poster!! There are some heavy wrinkles, moderate wear, and a few small very faint scattered stains, see photos. Overall, still in very good shape for a 40+ year old poster. No tape residue or thumbtack holes. Fold lines as shown. Not a copy, not a reprint. These are authentic, original, single sided 27×41 movie posters from a recent extremely rare storage find. All of the posters listed so far are from a movie theater that closed in the late 80s, They rolled and stored all of the posters they had over the years from 1974 to 1988 when they closed. This Italian poster is killer and it’s huge at 39″ x 55″ and dramatically different from the US poster and ads. Fans of Escape from New York with a lot of wall space to cover rejoice! This awesome poster, even when folded, measures 20″ x 14″ so it is a difficult poster to store and maintain. See condition description for details. Note on this poster: this actual poster was photographed and featured on page 34 of Trash: The Graphic Genius of Xploitation Movie Posters (Cronicle Books, 2002).
