The Girl From 10th Avenue Bette Davis Vintage Movie Poster Lithograph S2 Art. Condition: Mint, unused, never framed nor hung. This is a fine art lithograph of the original movie poster that is titled. The Girl From 10th Avenue. The vintage half-sheet was originally created in 1935 to advertise the release of The Girl From 10th Avenue, starring Bette Davis. This lithograph was re-created, in 1997, on a rare antique 19th century hand-pulled printing press in affiliation with the American Film Institute’s “100 American Classic Movie Posters”. This is the same printing press that was used to create the vintage posters over 100 years ago. There are only 5 of these antique presses in existence, today. Hand drawn plates are made, one for each colour, and then the plates are hand pulled through the vintage press one colour at a time. This is the exact same method that was used to create the beautiful vintage movie posters of the past. The result is vibrant rich colours and crisp clean lines. This is a true work of art. Medium: Hand pulled colour lithograph – hand drawn plates are hand pulled, one colour at a time, in perfect registration on Coventry 100% cotton archival paper with the finest quality archival ink using a rare, hand-pulled antique German Dufa lithography printing press. This GIRL HAPPY rare 6 Sheet Original Vintage 1965 Movie Poster was issued by MGM to promote the ELVIS PRESLEY Movie. This GIRL HAPPY folded 6 sheet is in NEAR MINT/MINT Condition with no rips, tears, writing, creases or tape stains. It’s incredible that a Poster this size has survived in this kind of condition. There’s just a half inch separation in the fold above Elvis Presley’s head, otherwise all the other fold are tight. The Poster colors are bright and vivid. This GIRL HAPPY 6 Sheet is perhaps the best surviving example as other recent examples that have surfaced have been lower grade. Make sure this item can be insured. 3-Sheet (41 x 81 inch) Movie Poster from the 1958 Allied Artist juvenile delinquency hot rod film Hot Car Girl, starring Richard Bakalyan, June Kenney and a souped-up 1956 Ford. One-sheets for this title turn up fairly regularly but this 3-sheet billboard size is quite rare. This poster is folded as issued, with a few scattered pinholes, minor edge wear, and light soiling in the borders (mainly in the bottom border). Condition is Very Good+.
