Côte d’Azur 1988 by Fix-Masseau Vintage Travel Poster Reproduction. This poster captures the exhilarating speed and glamour of the French Riviera. A vibrant red roadster, depicted in a sleek, streamlined style, dominates the composition as it speeds along a coastal highway. The artist, Pierre Fix-Masseau, uses dynamic lines and a low angle to convey a powerful sense of motion, with the wind and speed blurring the road behind the vehicle. The scene is set against the idyllic backdrop of the Côte d’Azur, with its deep blue waters, distant mountains, and a solitary pine tree characteristic of the Mediterranean landscape. The artwork is a travel poster promoting the Côte d’Azur, a famous stretch of coastline in southeastern France known for its luxurious resorts, beautiful beaches, and prestigious events like the Monaco Grand Prix. Created in 1988, the poster evokes the classic Art Deco style of the early 20th century, a period when motor racing and travel became synonymous with sophistication and adventure. The bold colors and stylized forms celebrate the region as a premier destination for excitement and scenic beauty. Our vintage-style travel posters capture the timeless spirit of adventure and nostalgia. This classic piece embodies the allure of bygone eras and invites you to explore the world as it once was.
