Flash Gordons A Trip to Mars. The vintage one-sheet was originally created in 1938 to advertise the release of Flash Gordon A Trip to Mars, starring Buster Crabbe. This lithograph was re-created, in 2001, on a rare antique 19th century hand-pulled printing press in affiliation with the American Film Institute’s “100 American Classic Movie Posters”. This is the same printing press that was used to create the vintage posters over 100 years ago. There are only 5 of these antique presses in existence, today. Hand drawn plates are made, one for each colour, and then the plates are hand pulled through the vintage press one colour at a time. This is the exact same method that was used to create the beautiful vintage movie posters of the past. The result is vibrant rich colours and crisp clean lines. This is a true work of art. We just pulled a small stash of classic collectible unused t-shirt iron-on heat transfers from storage. They are all vintage and they are all very unique. We’ll be listing new ones weekly so please check back often. This is a 100% authentic vintage t-shirt heat transfer from the 1980. This would make any collector scream with excitement! This is an original, 1980 Flash Gordon one sheet teaser movie poster. Actual measurements: 25 1/4″ x 38 1/4″. Poster is in good, not mint shape. Some wrinkles around the edge and smudges on the back.
