This is a rare. Vintage movie broadside poster. 1951 film’Fury of the Congo. This paper poster stars. Famous for his roles as Tarzan and the popular “Jungle Jim” character he played in this series. The poster features a striking tagline: Amazon Beauties Lead Johnny Into HIs Strangest Battles. Printed on thin paper, these 13 inch tall posters were originally created to be stapled on telephone poles and bulletin boards to advertise coming attractions. Because most were exposed to the elements, very few have survived, making this a unique and rare find for any collector. Due to their age and original purpose, these posters are. And may have imperfections such as. Along with possible staple marks. These small marks often add to their authentic, vintage appeal and can be easily trimmed for framing.
