For collectors and fans of Irwin Allen’s legendary disaster films, this is an extremely rare studio-issued photographic display from the original 1972 theatrical release of The Poseidon Adventure. Measuring approximately 19 ½ ” x 29″, this oversized glossy photo was distributed by 20th Century Fox to select first-run theaters for lobby display, with the studio stamp on the reverse confirming its authenticity. Preserved by a lifelong collector of Poseidon Adventure memorabilia, who saw the film at age six and has followed its legacy for decades, including meeting original cast and crew members. Never seen another example of this studio-issued blow-up.
