Hard to fine, Original Vintage 1983 Victory Games James Bond Octopussy Poster. This is original and NOT A REPRINT. It is in Good Condition, only damage is the corners which I have shown in photos. This vintage original 1939 movie window card (14″ x 22″) for one of the all-time classic melodramas, “Dark Victory”, starring Bette Davis, George Brent, Humphrey Bogart, Geraldine Fitzgerald, and Ronald Reagan. The 1939 Warner Bros. Bette Davis giving one of the greatest performances of her career as a snobbish socialite who transforms her attitude towards life as she learns she’s dying of a brain tumor. The film was a huge hit for Davis and Warner Brothers and earned Oscar nominations for Best Actress and Picture. This cool, iconic movie poster captures. Image of Bette Davis at her peak stardom and is something that all movie poster collectors and fans would love to hav e! This gorgeous poster, which was displayed in theaters, is in very good condition with bright, vibrant colors and a clean overall appearance. Overall it is a great image of Ms. Davis and has a classic Golden Age Hollywood vibe. The original unrestored vintage 1939 window card was never folded and is in very good condition. The card was once framed, and it has slightly darkened in the area that was exposed. It had pieces of clear tape on the back where it was held to the mat. It had stains in the top and bottom blank areas, with just a few tiny scuffs in the image area. It had tiny tears and creases in the top right of Davis’ hair. Since the defects are primarily in the blank borders, which will not show when the poster is framed, it warrants a “very good” condition grade. This is an incredibly rare and really cool, striking window card to display. The window card was never folded which is unusual for that era and makes this a very rare and valuable piece of art.
