It’s MOVIE POSTER MADNESS! REY DE LA SELVA. King of the Wild. Vintage Argentinian movie poster. Promoting the 13 chapter serial featuring Boris Karloff. Poster is undated, the serial was originally released early 1930s but Karloff’s top billing here would imply this poster was for a later release. Bottom left corner is numbered 6598 Industria Argentina, so possibly from 1965. Poster is approx 29″ wide x 43″ high mounted on approx 31″ wide x 45″ high sheet of linen. The poster was in EXCELLENT condition before linen mounting. The poster has light wear at the edges and corners and some light general wear to the surface, otherwise bright and crisp with no significant damage. On a scale of 1 to 10, this poster appears to have been a HIGH 7 OR BETTER before mounting. S it displays now I would give it an actual HIGH 8. Wide mouth tubes will be used to avoid stressing the poster’s connection with the linen backing. Each poster is photographed several times, under various lighting and with and without flash, to show the qualities and the flaws of the individual poster as clearly as possible.
