This is an original one sheet poster from the film “The Day of the Triffids” was. This poster was sent to theaters to be displayed in the lobby to promote the film’s engagement. The poster is folded which is the way one sheets were sent out by the studios back then. The poster has pin/tacking holes, wear on edges and. 6 small holes from tacking in the yellow background. Three of these are in the second line of the title, 2 near the bottom and one in the center. They are bout 1/2 the size of a penny, if that big, and will be lost in restoration and are difficult to see now. It will clean up nicely with restoration, please see photos. It measures 27″ x 41″.
