The Rare Original Half Sheet for this favorite star studded John Wayne classic. Excellent condition with bright colors. Folded as are most all half sheets but only one vertical fold line that is barely noticeable. See enlargeable image above. Rio Bravo (Warner Brothers, 1959). Half Sheet (22″ X 28″). Rio Bravo’s half sheet features not one, but three icons of American entertainment – John Wayne, Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson. The gritty trio brandishes guns in provocative poses, and that’s the lovely Angie Dickinson in the lower center of the poster, only twenty-six at the time of filming. A great find for avid collectors of the Western genre, the poster shows some edge wear , pinholes in the borders, and a minor chip in the lower left corner. There is one vertical fold in the center, but this has been mostly pressed out.
