An original publicity window card promoting the forthcoming New York opening of Allen’s first solo Broadway play, which preceded, and was the basis for, his first book publication a year later. The New York production was directed by Robert B. Sinclair, and starred Lou Jacobi, Anthony Roberts and, according to the text on this window card, Vivian Vance. However, Vance left the play during its out-of-town tryouts and Kay Medford was her replacement, a change not yet made in the letterpress of this poster.
