Vintage 3 sheet poster for CHANSON D’AVRIL (SPRING PARADE), Universal Studio, 1940, starring Deanna Durbin, France. Poster measures 37×62 and is in very good condition. There is a 2 inch vertical tear at the top right side (see second image) and a 12 inch horizontal tear at the center of the poster (see third image). Both could be repaired with tape from reverse. The poster has been neatly folded so it could fit into an 11×14 envelope. A few other small tears, but overall very good with colors still vibrant. Poster shows a color rendition of Deanna Durbin in costume for the film, and then a few black and white scenes from the film, showing her with: S. “Cuddles” Sakall, Robert Cummings, Mischa Auer, and “Butch And Buddy”. Director Henry Koster is credited on the poster, which also has the Universal logo.
