Pristine vintage Miss Piggy silkscreen – an original from rock poster artist K. Chillis, whose collectible prints are rare finds, rarer still in mint deadstock condition. Dated 1980, printed between 1980 and 1984. Genuine deadstock, pallet-wrapped since the print run. Pulled from a barn-find trailer decades on. Not a reprint, not a reissue, not a reproduction. Miss Piggy in full coronation mode: a rhinestone tiara topped with a starburst, curls cascading to the shoulders, a fur-trimmed wrap, and an armful of roses with a tiny trophy tucked among the blooms. Chillis gives her a gloved hand pressed to the throat and eyes cast heavenward, the classic overcome-diva pose. Black crosshatch over gold stock, with white highlights making the rhinestones actually sparkle. Dated 1980, this catches Piggy at the height of her stardom. She was fresh off The Muppet Movie, still stealing scenes on The Muppet Show, and arguably more famous than most of the human guests lining up to work with her. Chillis plays it straight, treating her like any screen legend accepting her due. A portrait of a Muppet who transcended puppet and never once doubted she was the main event. Paper measures 22 1/2″ x 28 1/2″ on heavy weight silkscreen stock. Happy to answer questions and suggest some easy framing options. Never hung, never rolled, never displayed. Any framed wall photos are Photoshop mockups. Sale is for the print only. Interested in more than one title?
